Shipping Costs
Calora offers FREE shipping nationwide to your door for orders over the value of R500.00, regardless of the number of items purchased or their size*. A nominal fee of R55.00 applies to all orders under R500.00 nationwide.
There may be additional charges on excessively large or heavy, low value items, these additional shipping costs will be displayed on the product page and will be added to your order during the checkout process.
Calora reserves the right to apply delivery charges on irregular orders. The purchaser will be notified prior to the processing of such order. If the purchaser has already paid for such order, Calora will reimburse the purchaser within 3 business days, should the purchaser elect not to proceed with the order due to additional shipping charges. Irregular orders include but are not limited to: excessive (not within the norms of personal consumption) number of units ordered of the same item (such as diapers or paper), large number of items that are marked down or repeated orders of larger items within an account.
Delivery Times
We always strive to ship orders in a timely manner and below the times indicated. Typically, orders will leave our warehouse within the shipping time as indicated next to each product on our website. To work out the delivery time for your order, add the time indicated next to each product on our website with the days in transit period. Example – if the product indicated a shipping time of 24 hours and you live in Johannesburg (see transit times below), then your package will arrive within 48 hours, excluding Public Holidays and weekends.
Days in Transit
The length of time before you receive your purchased products is determined by the location of your shipping address from our warehouse in Gauteng South Africa plus the indicated shipping time on the product page.
Johannesburg: 24 hours
All other main centres: 48 hours
Outlaying areas: 72 hours
- Main centres include any destination within a 45km radius of: Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, East London, Bloemfontein, Cape Town, George, Port Elizabeth, Pietermaritzburg and Nelspruit.
- If products with different delivery times are ordered together, the product with the longest delivery time will determine the delivery time of all the products in the order. Should you wish to receive a particular product within its stipulated shipping time, we recommend that you order such products separately from the products requiring longer delivery times.
- Shipping periods above, commence only upon payment confirmation being received by Calora. Please note that EFTs take up to 3 days to process.
- Currently, Calora only offers shipping to your door by WorldNet courier services. Please provide your physical address when completing your order. Postal addresses cannot be processed for delivery at this time.
- Please ensure that there is a designated person available to receive the package.
- Deliveries to international destinations are currently not available.
Shipping Delays
We always try our best to ensure that your package arrives within the stipulated delivery times above or sooner. Of course, there are some things that are beyond our control like weather, delivery errors, courier services & supplier delays. Regardless of the reason for the delay, we will do our best to help you as best we can and endeavour to inform you as soon as we know of any impending delays.
Failed Delivery
Please notify Calora upon placing your order, of any specific delivery times or instructions (within regular office hours / business days / delivery times and areas). Should the courier service not be able to complete a delivery at the address specified by the purchaser, either due to an incorrect delivery address or unavailability of purchaser or assigned persons to accept the parcel, within regular delivery times, Calora may at its discretion charge the purchaser a delivery fee (equal to or lower than our standard delivery charges) for the subsequent delivery of the package.
